Funk, Art and Influence- FunkThaWorld

My love for funk music and dope art collided and blessed me with the opportunity to have a one on one with Atlanta’s own Funkthaworld. Funk; an artist who’s style is bold, vibrant and captivating sat with me to talk art at the Dripping Star Boutique in Castleberry Hill.

Soul filled funk music plays in the background, Art drapes the tables and one of a kind shirts are on display; the perfect set up for a music loving art enthusiast. The young artist is just as influential as his art. How can a man that creates such beautiful art go by the name Funk? Funkthaworld shares with me how he didn’t choose Funk, Funk chose him and what that means for his followers.
