[dropcap size=big]The[/dropcap] soundtrack to get me through this week is the NAACP tape by Cyhi da Prynce. NAACP is the second tape from the Black Histori series. Though the first installment of the Black Histori series released in 2014 it is still very much one of my favorite mixtapes. NCAAP is the soundtrack of the week however this well crafted project should be in everyones playlist throughout the year. Released in February of 2015 in time for black history month, NAACP is sure to ignite your flame of love for well played lyrics and dope production.

Mannie Fresh, Tek Beats, The Freshman and few others blessed NAACP with some fire tracks. “One Woman Man” and “Believe” are my play first tracks from the tape and will be on repeat through out my days followed by “Mandela” and “Coretta” from the first tape. Some days require and little more pep in the step and “Mandela” does just that. A reminder of what greatness has come before us. The sample selections and hip hop love ballads will be just what I need to mellow out me out midweek. Do your self a favor and download the Black Histori Mixtapes. The mental escape that NCAAP offers is just what one needs to get going through a week full of hard work, hustle, chill and build.
